Whether you’re looking to expand your skills or connect with others in the physical activity sector, these events could be the perfect place to start.

  • Introduction to Inclusive Learning Principles – Activity Alliance

    Join activity Alliance and partners from across sport and physical activity for a live webinar to find out how organisations are using the Inclusive Learning Principles (launched earlier this year) in their work.

    You’ll hear from organisations involved in developing and embedding the principles about:

    - How they are using the principles in their own work.

    - Practical examples and quick wins that others can take away.

    - Challenges they have faced and lessons they have learned.

    - How inclusive learning can support a more diverse sport and physical activity workforce.

    - How the principles can be used across different types of learning and development – not just eLearning.

    - How to use the Inclusive Learning Principles self-assessment tool to review your own approach.

    There will also be an opportunity to put questions directly to the speakers during a live Q&A.

  • Engaging your community

    This workshop explores the principles and benefits of community engagement, helping organisations build stronger connections with the people they serve.

    Learners will assess their current relationship with their local community, identify opportunities for deeper engagement, and develop practical strategies to strengthen these connections.

    Through discussion and reflection, attendees will map out their community landscape, explore their organisation’s role within it, and devise action plans to foster meaningful interactions that support both their goals and the wider community’s needs.

  • Maximising your volunteers’ experience

    This workshop focuses on building a strong and supportive volunteering culture within your organisation. Learners will explore strategies for enhancing the volunteer experience, from recruiting and retaining volunteers to recognising and rewarding their contributions.

    Through reflection and discussion, learners will assess their organisation’s current volunteer needs, identify key roles, and develop practical plans for engaging and sustaining volunteers effectively.

    By the end of the session, learners will leave with actionable steps to strengthen their organisation’s volunteer network and ensure a positive, rewarding experience for all involved.

  • Positive experiences for all people

    This workshop focuses on enhancing participant experiences by exploring what makes an activity truly engaging and fulfilling.

    Learners will review their current offerings, reflect on how well they meet the needs of their club or organisation, and identify actionable steps to create a more inclusive and enjoyable environment.

    Through discussion and practical exercises, learners will consider ways to measure engagement, amplify voices within their organisation, and design strategies to foster meaningful and positive experiences for all.
