However, we’ll be opening the portal to anyone living in Lincolnshire in the near future, with subsidised course packages available, including topics such as mental health awareness, safeguarding and inclusive activity programming.

The Active Skill Hub is a ‘one stop shop’ for individuals who are planning a career in sport and physical activity, as well as those currently working in the sector who are keen to develop their skills and progress in their careers. It offers training courses, advice on career opportunities, and a range of resources tailored to address local skills gaps. The platform has been specially created for those working or wishing to work in Lincolnshire.

Access to the e-learning portal is currently limited to people living, working or planning to work in East Lindsey and South Holland who have successfully gained funding from the Active Skills Fund. In 2025 the couses will be opened up for anyone living in Lincolnshire, with course packages available that are susidised for those living in Lincolnshire.

The portal provides access to a wide range of accredited courses, from foundational qualifications to specialised certifications. Whether you’re aiming to become a coach, community leader, or wellness professional, the platform offers training and resources that will help you grow and develop in your chosen career.

Job Opportunities will be shared from 2025, allowing people looking for roles in the sport and physical activity sector to easily search for new career opportunities in Lincolnshire.

If you live, work or plan to work in the East Lindsey or South Holland, you can apply for funding from the Active Lincolnshire Skills Fund for a sport and physical activity related course of your choice to develop your skills and knowledge. The deadline to apply is 31st December 2024 although as there is limited funding available we reserve the right to close applications earlier.
